A Taste of Summer

We have a bed of lillies that actually come up where our tulips were in the Spring. I love the colors!

This rose is called the Alexandra-like my Mom. The bush was her Mother's Day present the year she died. She never saw it bloom while she was alive. We planted it in its own space in front of our house.

This is one of our callas. We have these in huge planters on our patio. We don't put them in the ground because they wouldn't survive a Wisconsin winter.

Just thought I would share some photos of what Andy has planted. I love the flowers at this time of year!

You've got to be kidding, we still have snow.

Alright, not really but didn't that sound funny?

How can you be in the garden or did you mosquitos all migrate to our house for the summer !?!

Thank you for brightening my day with these gorgeous pictures. It inspires me to plant some lilies. I've always wanted tons of lilies around the yard, but right now all we have are day lilies. they're pretty, but we need some more color.

I'm thinking of you a lot today! We'll talk soon.

Those are absolutely gorgeous!
It's funny you should have a flower that is named after your mom. My mom actually has a rose with her name, that is a great way to honor her.
