Today, my Drew turned 5 years old. It is so hard to believe that five years have gone by since his birth. He was the hardest to deliver of my 3-coming in at 9 pounds 1 ounce. He had an especially large head (still does!), and his arm was stuck as well. I am told from Andy that between he and my OB, I was about 30 seconds away from having a C-section. Luckily, he found his way out, and is a complete joy! Drew is very bright-sometimes too much so for his own good, and stubborn, but he also has a heart of gold and a winning smile. I love you Drewsie! Happy Birthday!
This is Drew's cake. He asked for a Yoshi cake (Yoshi is one of Super Mario's pals). The inside is marble with vanilla icing. I think it turned out pretty well-and he loved it, so that is what counts!
