We just returned from the funeral Mass for our friend's daughter. It was a really beautiful Mass, but oh so sad. I will return tomorrow with brighter musings. Thanks to those of you with the warm thoughts, prayers for the family and well-wishes. It means more than you know.

Therese, I am sorry you had to endure such a sad day. My love and prayers to your family and the babie's family. Our only comfort in a time like this is in knowing that such a beautiful innocent child is eternally in the arms of our Lord. She will have everlasting peace and never suffer. It is only we who are left here on earth who will suffer. Remember to always keep your eyes focused on the goal that is before us.

What a beautiful sentiment from gramma2many! I hope her words are comforting. I might come back and reread them tomorrow for myself. My aunt passed away this weekend and her funeral is being held then.
