The Last Lecture

College professor, Randy Pausch, author of The Last Lecture, died yesterday. He was only 47, and left behind a wife and 3 young children. I had heard about his last lecture from my sister. This lecture has also been turned into a book. The video clip is from a shortened version of the original lecture. It really had a profound effect on me. If you knew you were going to die, what wisdom would you want to leave with people? Here is his take on it:

My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I hadn't heard he'd passed. I saw this clip a couple of months back. It was really moving. My heart goes out to his family.

You know, I've heard snippets about this here and there, but never knew the whole story or what they were even talking about. Thanks for sharing this...I'll be getting the book in the near future.
So sad when a family looses a Dad so young, but what a wonderful legacy he's left.

I saw him on Oprah. I heard the book was good too. I may have to pick that one up.
