Weepy, but fun!

I am so weepy and hormonal! Tonight, we went with the boys to a pizza place that had one of these:

It was a HUGE organ that literally had components all around the restaurant. They have really yummy pizza, but they are kind of pricey, so we only go there about once a year.

So, what made me cry? A couple of things-organs like that are made for polkas. The polkas made me think of my Grandma and great Aunt Mary who lived with us until I was 11. They had such an impact on me growing up. They are on my Mom's side of the family (the Polish and German side), and I miss them a lot.

Then we ordered pizza, and we had a rarity. We were able to figure out a way for me to get MY favorite toppings on half of one of the pizzas-sausage, mushroom and onion-YUM! It was also my Mom and Dad's favorite kind, which made me think about how much I miss them, and well. it ALL made me weepy. Actually my folks have been on my mind lately because this is the first baby I am having without at least one of them physically here. UGH! I am SO hormonal right now!

Can't be left out {{{{{{Therese}}}}} Glad to hear your pregnancy is normal. :) That' what my doctor told me once. I was whinning about being sick, hormonal, etc... She said "I'm so glad. We have a healthy baby on the way!" The hormonal weepy stuff is hard. I think you need big hug and pampering from hubby.
Love ya'!

The minute I hear the word polka it takes me back to Christmas with my mum's side of the family . . . one of her older sisters married a Czech and does he ever love (still to this day) the polkas. He would eventually shut off the Christmas music and turn on the polka records and all the "tipsy" menfolk would start dancing - arm in arm - including my dad! My dad is ULTRA conservative . . . okay, they did eventually crash into the tree and broke a few things, which sent the cousins of the house to tears . . . but my brother, sister and I still laugh about it to this day.

HUGS!

Hormones aren't fun at any time but especially not when you're in public. Sorry to hear you're missing your family so. Just think of how proud of you they are and I'm betting they smiled down on you just knowing you were thinking of them so fondly.
