We signed him up!

My darling Michael is all signed up for his first class. He will be taking Gymnastics on Thursday mornings. He has the same teacher that Drew had, and she is a wonderful woman with immense patience! Each of our boys does this the year before they start 4 year old Kindergarten to give them some time away from me. We are actually not sure if Michael will go next year because he misses the cut off by one day. Our principal has assured us that we could put him in next year, but we are still on the fence with this decision. He is extremely bright, but we do worry about him being a boy and the youngest in the class. On the other hand, Drew is also the youngest in his class (July birthday), and he is just fine...We will have to just wait and see...All I know is that come September 4th, I will have one glorious hour to myself! I don't ask for much, do I?

One whole hour. Isn't it crazy that a single hour can make a mom so happy!

Grace started her gymnastics class tonight too. She was so cute in her leotard I almost cried!

How fun! I want to sign the twins up for something, but can't figure out how I will do it with two toddlers and only two arms. LOL

Enjoy that hour. I just had a realization yesterday. Alex is in pre-school as of Sept. 2!!!! DUH!
The daycare he's at has a 3 year old room that is designed as pre-school with a set routine, lessons, colors, letters, etc. I'm still in shock, but so excited for him!

I tried to post earlier, but I had a typo so I deleted it. When I tried to repost, something was going on and it would not work so here I am again.
I was commenting on remembering when Gina (A Handful of Life) started school. She was the youngest of my six. I am pretty sure I danced circles back up my driveway once she got on the bus. Lucky for me we had a long driveway and no close neighbors or they would have probably called Stan to tell him I was wierding out. Actually though, it is kind of a sad day. Your baby is growing up and does not need you as much. One chapter finished and about twelve more to go before they head off to college.

My girls want to try gymnastics... I keep forgetting to call the local place to ask about classes/lessons.

Hey, take an hour for yourself whenever you can!!!

Any time to yourself is a blessing. Congrats. I have a July baby too, she's in 5th grade now and I still see her as my little one, although I have two other little ones behind her. ;-)
