Snow!

We are in the middle of a snowstorm, and it is about time if you ask me! It started last night and should go through about 3 AM tomorrow. We are supposed to get 10-14 inches. Our area has really been lacking this winter which is highly unusual for the midwest! The last snow day we had was December of 2008! No snow day here today, though. My hubby got the boys off to school safely-and early, as Peter served at 7:30 Mass. I am a tad concerned about driving to pick them up this afternoon with Michael and the baby in tow, but we'll leave early!

I am super motivated today! I baked bread this morning (my Mama always said to bake during snowstorms!) and the laundry about half done already! Later, I am going to make homemade sauce for pasta for supper and some banana bread. Not sure what has gotten into me, but this is going to be a great day!

That looks amazing! I may have to do the same.
We are a bit North of you, but not by much. It looks like schools in the area are closing early and, Wed may be your sonowday....we'll see.
I think maybe a trip for milk may be in order!
I hope you enjoy the day and get a litte extra time with the little ones!

That looks good enough to eat!
I hope the boys appreciate the effort that you are putting into dinner. If they don't realize it now, they will later on in life.

Love you and thank God i have you

I love snow days! It snowed here too. We were to get between 4 - 6 inches. With all the blowing I don't know how much we actually got. I cleaned today and made some snacks for the kids. Homemade pasta sauce sounds yummy.

Hi Therese,
Well done - your bread looks absolutely delicious!

It is sooo hot here today - 39C, and yet it's snowing where you are - amazing!

It is also snowing in Seoul, Korea, as I just read on Shakira's blog.http://justmeshakira.wordpress.com/2010/02/10/winter-in-seoulkorea/#comment-270

Have a wonderful week,
Blessings,

I love home made bread, especially in Winter as you sit in front of the fire.
Yep, we have even had over 30 degree temps here in the south of Aus.So that makes it hot for here.
