Here is our archbishop with some of the school kids. Peter and Drew are in the red school shirts.
Peter also had science fair this weekend. We are so proud of him! He took third place! He also happened to be there when the Archbishop was looking at the projects and Peter spent a good five minutes explaining his project to him! For my shy son, this was a huge experience!
At Mass this morning, Father Dan told us that the last thing the Archbishop told him on Sunday was how impressed he was with the people of our parish, especially the children and how they are living out their faith. I am so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community!

how wonderful that you were able to meet ArchBishop Listecki. and that your children were able to spend some time with him. he is a holy man. I met him maybe five years ago at a weekend conference and he gave the keynote address. A very dynamic message. I read (online) his address/homily on his day of installation as your new ArchBishop and it was beautiful. your diocese is so blessed to have him, although Archbishop Dolan was wonderful too.
Yipeee!!!!
I think it's no mistake that he came to our parish to kick off Catholic school's week. What a blessed message for the Milwaukee Archdiocese. I feel honored to belong here. I think we owe it all to the perpetual adoration.
wow, great pictures!!
That's a great family picture, Therese! How wonderful that your kids could spend a few minutes with the Arch Bishop! I think it's exciting when you find yourself in a parish that is young and vibrant!
Hi Therese,
What an exciting experience for you all!
Have a great week,
Blessings,
Jillian
My hometown is in the LaCrosse diocese - so I have been a HUGE fan for a while and was so excited when he was named in MKE!
That family pic is one for the frames!
This is GREAT! Love the pics.
oooh...I just survived a science fair project too. Congrats to your son.
