Sadness

Yesterday, my friend's niece was struck and killed while out for a walk with her mom, little brother and another aunt. The little girl was only 5. My heart is grieving for this family. It was a tragic accident. Her funeral Mass is on Saturday at my parish. Please keep this entire family in your prayers.

Therese,
I saw this story on the news a few days throughout the afternoon. There are often sad stories on the news, but this one really got me and I found myself crying all afternoon. This is just so, so, heart breaking. I wish there was something we could do - I am praying! God Bless.

How terrible! I am sorry this family is having to endure such a loss. I will certainly remember them.
The comfort is in knowing this darling baby is now in the arms of Jesus. He will keep her and hold her until her mommy gets there.

Oh Therese, my heart breaks for this poor family. ;(

It is so tragic when a family member dies, but so much more when it is a child.

Praying...
Blessings, Jillian ♥

What a horrible horrible thing to have to witness, let alone go through as a parent. I'm so sorry for your friend and her family. I will be keeping them in my prayers during this life altering time.

Just can't imagine the pain. You are blessed with a wonderful priest and a wonderful parish. I'm sure that you were all a great source of comfort to the family, still...What can we do but pray.
