Sunshine Award

So this week, I was very fortunate to receive this award from two of my favorite bloggers, Nancy at Be Not Afraid and Sarah at With a Hopeful Heart! Ladies, you are the ones who fill my life with sunshine! Thanks so much! Love you!

Now, I get to spread the love (I have a feeling some of us are getting this a couple of time over!). Blogging is such a light in my life! I am so fortunate to be able to call you friends!

Here goes:

In one way or another you have all touched my life, and I am so blessed to call you friends!

07 January 2009

I have some awards to share!

This award I received from Amy at Escape into my Thoughts. We met last year, and discovered a common love of all things Rick Springfield! She has become a really good bloggy friend who always has a word of encouragement for me! Thank you Amy!

I received this award from Karen at Karen's Catholic Journal. Karen is a new blogger who I just discovered. I look forward to reading her blog as well! This award is given to others who show good attitude (the good kind!) or gratitude.

I have a third award , the Kreativ Blogger award. This was also give to me by Karen. Thanks for the kindnesses, Karen! I'm going to tell you 6 things that I'm thankful for and then pass it on to other bloggers.

I am thankful for:
1. God and my faith
2. My husband
3. My children (both those here on earth and the 2 up in heaven!)
4. My family
5. My friends
6. Being able to stay at home.
I pass on these awards to (Yes, you are getting all 3!)
1. Amy at Escape to Thought (the ones not from you!)
2. Karen at Karen's Catholic Journal (the one not from you!)

Thank you for being my friends, some in the blogosphere, some in real life.
You all inspire me and make me want to be a better wife, mother and woman!

Premio Dardos Award

I was very fortunate to receive this award from 4 of my favorites bloggers: Therese, Corinne, Nikki and Amy! With the exception of Corinne, who is a real life friend, the other 3 ladies are blogs that I have relatively recently begun reading. I am honored, ladies, to be in such company! Thank you!
This award acknowledges the values that every blogger shows in his/her effort to transmit cultural, ethical, literary and personal values every day.
The rules to follow are :
1) Accept the award, post it on your blog together with the name of the person that has granted the award and his or her blog link.
2) Pass the award to other 15 blogs that are worthy of this acknowledgment.Remember to contact each of them to let them know they have been chosen for this award.
Here is a list of my blogs that will receive this award:
I am stopping there because many of the blogs I would give these to have already gotten it-including the ladies who gave it to me! Please take some time to check out the blogs that gave me the award, as well as those whom I gave it to-you'll be glad you did!

I got an award!

I am trying to play catch up this weekend on awards, tag, and such. I am going to start with the newest and work backwards.

Sherri at Kaysville Momma gave this award, and I couldn't be happier! I showed up late to the party going on at her blog, but she welcomed me with open arms! Thanks, Sherri!

So here are the rules:
* Pick 5 Bloggers that you feel are Kick A** Bloggers
* Let em' know in your post or via email, twitter or blog comments that they've received an award
* Share the love and link back to both the person who awarded you and back to
Kick A** Blogger Award
* Hop on back to the Kick A** Blogger Club HQ to sign Mr.
Linky then pass it on (which you can also get to on the above link)

Pretty simple, right? The award goes to:

Sydney at Diapers and Deadlines: One of my real-life best friends. We met through book club, and just clicked. Check out her writing-it's really good!

Sue at Susie's Homemade: Another real-life best friend. Sue and I have known each other since high school (we just celebrated our 20th reunion!). She's a foodie with a lot of entertaining ideas-and her own ETSY business!

Who Says 8 is Enough? is a blog that I literally just found, and have fallen in love with! Mom to 9 kids, some natural, some adopted, but all hers in her heart! I love big families!

Tressa at American in Norway: I have been reading Tressa's blog for a while now. She is, just like her title, an American living in Norway, and I love the comparisons between the two countries! I went through withdrawal while she was visiting her family stateside, so I am glad she is back!

Kelly at Song for Whoever: Kelly is Tressa's best friend from high school, and a great writer herself! I always look forward to what she has to say!

Please check these ladies out! Thanks again to Sherri for the award!
