I don't know if any of this will work or not...but here are some ideas.

1. If you don't have a nightime routine...get one!
2. Get him really, really, really tired during the day! Make him run laps or something!
3. We offer our kids 3 marshmallows in the morning if they've stayed in their bed all night! This does work most of the time!
4. Does he share a room with his brothers? If not, maybe you could move him in with one of them temporarily.
5. There's always Benadryl!

That's my two cents!!!

Oh..one last thing....you could try a novena to St. Joseph and ALWAYS say the St. Michael prayer!Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08703752271069054710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4441309827489593160.post-57193005966007878892009-01-29T14:38:00.000-06:002009-01-29T14:38:00.000-06:00One thing that really irritates me is being awaken...One thing that really irritates me is being awakened in the middle of the night. See since Leo left, to avoid what you're going through, I've just given in and let the muffin sleep with me. One upside to a king-size bed! :)

Now remind me of all the advice you get when we're all sleeping under one roof.

And yes, you know I'd come clean for you - as for my house - girl, you don't even want to see it. It's a trainwreck. And I really mean that. Uff dah!

The "ick" is running through my veins, I fear. I was exposed to bronchitis and other kiddies snivels last week and on MOnday plus my hubby has something nasty . . . my nose is on fire (inside) and "running" but I can still breathe. I feel warm and very tuckered out . . . So, I'm PRAYING HARD for everyoneSarah - Kalahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17877449375576975508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4441309827489593160.post-6942439540817732602009-01-29T10:23:00.000-06:002009-01-29T10:23:00.000-06:00Oh my dear! We have been having this "battle of w...Oh my dear! We have been having this "battle of wills" if you will in our home for the past 2 weeks. The thing that has worked best is to tuck our daughter back in and say, "This is your bed Yaya. You need to sleep here." After this initial return to bed you do not say another word. You just point to their room and take them back to their bed and tuck them in again. NO WORDS! It's hard to do but what they want is that verbal reinforcement. Yaya is doing much better. Has even slept through the night again a couple times. (One of our problems is her bedroom is at the front of the house where all the noise from the street can be heard. GRRRRR!)
My heart goes out to you. Stay strong!Frizzyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15150850904947257133noreply@blogger.com
